FOTON PH INKS AGREEMENT TO PROVIDE WORLD-CLASS TRAINING, SURE EMPLOYMENT WITH PAMPANGA PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT

Addressing the depleting rate of employment in the country brought by the pandemic, FOTON Motor Philippines, Inc. (FMPI), along with the Pampanga Provincial government, is taking the lead with programs that will benefit the public by providing world-class Automotive Skills Training followed by sure employment.

“We will train them to acquire knowledge in electronics and other new technologies aligned with the automotive industry; this is our way of giving back,” says FOTON Motor Philippines, Inc. (FMPI) President Rommel Sytin.

In a signed partnership between Pampanga Provincial government through Governor Dennis Delta Pineda and FMPI President Rommel Sytin, the program aims to give a 6-month training that will equip trainees with vital skills, enabling them to qualify for manpower vacancies, particularly around Pampanga and neighboring areas in Central Luzon.

By undergoing the training program, participants will cultivate competent proficiency and experience on field as a heavy equipment operator, driver, or automotive mechanic, all in-demand jobs, to address the employment requirement in the industry.

Eyed to bring long-term and constant collaboration, the program is seen to take a big leap against the unemployment challenges, aligned with the commitment of FOTON to support the growth and development of the economy and industry, as a step forward for the development of the country and the welfare of its citizens.

The training program will take place at the Pampanga Manpower Training Center, a technical vocational training school that is supervised by the provincial government of Pampanga.
