Underscoring the continued trust of PH Global Jet Express, Inc., popularly known as J&T Express, in FOTON trucks and commercial vehicles, the logistics company is ordering yet more vehicles from the Top 10-ranking truck brand’s distributor, United Asia Automotive Group, Inc. (UAAGI).
The move strengthens the partnership between the well-known logistics giant and FOTON, and aims to further strengthen J&T Express’s transport capabilities using state-of-the-art FOTON units for the years to come.
UAAGI and FOTON Motor Philippines, Inc. (FMPI) President Rommel Sytin and PH Global Jet Express Inc. CEO Ding Lei signed off on a fresh order of FOTON trucks, which will boost J&T Express’s expansion, not just in delivering its services, but also for its long-term logistics industry build-up and development.
“As a logistics company, it is important to forge partnership with a reputable manufacturer that provides us quality units with latest advancement in technology and reliable 24/7 customer service support “ says J&T Express PH Vice President Zoe Chi.
The partnership has continuously built on a strong union since 2019, based on mutual trust and collaboration. Both world-class companies aim to bridge the gap between various businesses and Filipino consumers amid the threats of the pandemic.
At present, more than 50 percent of J&T Express’s fleet of trucks and commercial vehicles are composed of FOTON units.
“Being part of a fast-paced business, it is really important to find a reliable partner that will help you successfully expand and achieve business growth,” says Chi. “FOTON stays consistent with their promise,” she added.
Relentlessly innovating customer services, UAAGI has introduced the first-in-the-industry 24/7 on-site after-sales services, as well as numerous promos that will keep vehicles in tiptop shape, thus cutting downtime. This dedicated focus on customer satisfaction has enabled FOTON to win over numerous and diverse businesses and meet the high standards and exacting needs of the country’s pioneering e-commerce delivery company, J&T Express.
“Customer service, reliability, flexibility, speed of service, and most importantly, the truck engine and van body quality—these are the considerations of J&T in choosing a mobility partner for logistics operations,” shares Chi. “We decided to choose FOTON as our long-time partner in business since they have enough physical stores and service centers to conduct repair and maintenance for trucks which are allocated nationwide. They also provide an on-site service to the remote areas,” she continued.
Addressing the skyrocketing demand in e-commerce logistics, UAAGI and J&T Express eye a long-term partnership, working in tandem for the industry’s sustained growth.
